The Royal Family and the Palace have not been approached for comment on Meghan and Harry’s Netflix series, and a dispute has been declared.

A title card shown at the beginning of the series notes that “Members of the Royal Family refused to comment on the topics included inside the series.”
According to a source within the palace, members of the royal family were not contacted for their opinions on the docuseries that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are producing for Netflix.

According to a source who spoke with People magazine, nobody from the royal family, Buckingham Palace, or Prince William’s office at Kensington Palace was contacted for a comment on the substance of the new series, which debuted on Thursday.

A title card that appears at the beginning of the series notes that members of the Royal Family have denied the opportunity to comment on the content of the series.

The presentation begins with a title card that states, “This is a first-hand account of Harry and Meghan’s tale, told with never before seen person archive.”

(This is a first-hand account of Harry and Meghan’s story, told with never before seen person archive.) It also states that “all interviews were finished by August 2022,” which is the month before Queen Elizabeth, Prince Harry’s grandmother, passed away.

In the first three parts (the remaining episodes will be released on Thursday, December 15), Meghan, 41, and Prince Harry, 38, discussed their choice to retire from royal duties in 2020.

In an early scene, Meghan can be heard saying, “Unfortunately, in not standing for anything, they are ruining us,” with the obvious intention of referring to the royal family. After they made the news that they would be switching royal duties, she shot the video on her own while she was in Vancouver Island, Canada, while Prince Harry remained in London.

They also discussed the possibility of Meghan meeting other members of the royal family, such as Prince Harry’s grandmother Queen Elizabeth, Prince William, and Kate Middleton, who is Prince Harry’s sister-in-law.

According to Harry, his family was thrilled when they met Meghan for the first time.

He explained it by saying that the fact that she was an American actress impaired their judgment.

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex and Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, make a hand gesture during their visit to Canada House in London on January 7, 2020 to express their gratitude for the warm Canadian hospitality and support they received during their recent trip to Canada. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are currently in Canada.

The first teaser trailer for the documentary series included numerous intimate photographs of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, including a picture from their wedding reception that had never been published before and a candid shot of the couple making out in the kitchen.

However, the previews also showed some less joyful scenes, such as Harry glancing at Meghan as she wiped her eyes during an interview. In another photo, Meghan could be seen clutching her phone with one hand as she masked her expression with the other.

During an interview in October with Variety, the presenter of the Archetypes podcast provided a clue as to what listeners might anticipate from the docuseries.

“Even if it means it may not be the way we would have told it,” Meghan said of working with director Liz Garbus, the Oscar nominee behind Love, Marilyn and Becoming Cousteau. “It’s nice to be able to trust someone with our story — a seasoned director whose work I’ve long admired,” Meghan said of working with director Liz Garbus, the Oscar nominee behind Love, Marilyn and Becoming Cousteau. “However, that is not the reason we are saying it. Because we are entrusting someone else with the telling of our tale, it will be interpreted using their perspective.”

“It’s worth looking into. My spouse does not have any previous experience working in this sector “She went on to say more. “After having worked on the show “Suits,” I can say that it is really incredible to be in an environment with such a high concentration of creative energy and to see how individuals collaborate and express their own points of view. That has been a lot of enjoyable enjoyment.”
