The first episodes of the royal couple Harry and Meghan’s new reality program, Harry & Meghan, have debuted, providing viewers with insight into their romance.
The love story of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry is being told in their own words, including the fact that they first connected on Instagram.

“I was scrolling through my feed and one of my friends and someone who was a friend had this video of the two of them, like a Snapchat,” Harry revealed in the first episode of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s six-episode docuseries on Netflix, titled Harry & Meghan, which premiered on Thursday. The series will run for a total of six episodes.

After that, Harry went on to share an unexpected detail, which was that Meghan had used an image filter that made her seem like a dog for the photo.

Harry said, “I was thinking ‘who is THAT?!'” when he saw the person.

After then, Meghan’s buddy who must remain nameless shared with her that “Prince Haz” had inquired about her and recommended that the two of them get together.

“I asked, who the heck is that?” The happy revelation came from Meghan. “I questioned whether or not I could see his stream.”

She went on to say that, in her opinion, was the most accurate barometer. “So I looked through it, and it was just like amazing photography along with all of these environmental images, and at this time he was spending in Africa.

The next day, they exchanged phone numbers.

Before the fortuitous meeting, the duchess “was simply going to be free,” according to Meghan’s close friend Lindsay Jill Roth, who made her first public comments on the pair.

Lucy Fraser, another one of Meghan’s friends, chimed in and said that “[Meghan] had planned a single girl summer and she had a lot of ideas of goin’ throughout Europe.”

Meghan said, “I had my plan… and then there was H.” “I mean, talk about a dramatic turn of events!”

The pair subsequently went full circle with their love story and how they’ve both made significant personal sacrifices to remain together in black-and-white sequences that were filmed at their wedding in May of 2018.

According to Harry, “She gave up all that she had ever known, including the independence that she had in order to join me in my world.”

“Then very shortly after that, I ended up forsaking all that I know in order to join her in her world,” he added, referring to the choice that the two of them made in January of 2020 to step back from front-line royal responsibilities and start a new life in Montecito, California.
In 2016, Meghan, age 41, and Prince Harry, age 38, had their first meeting. Their first date was shortly followed by two more dates in London, which were back-to-back with one other.

After that, Prince Harry asked Meghan to accompany him on a vacation to Botswana. In the engagement interview that the couple had in 2017, Harry reminisced, “We camped out with each other beneath the stars.” It was a wonderful experience that she came out to spend five days traveling with me out there. After that, we were really by ourselves, which was very necessary to me in order to ensure that we had the opportunity to get to know one another.

They were able to make their long-distance relationship work and never went more than two weeks without seeing each other despite the fact that Meghan was based in Canada and Harry was based in the United Kingdom. Meghan was filming the show Suits in Canada, and Harry was based in the United Kingdom.

The pair first shared the news of their engagement in November of 2017, and they tied the knot at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle the following year in May.

In May of 2019, they became parents to a boy named Archie Harrison, and then in June of 2021, they welcomed a girl named Lilibet Diana.

In September of 2020, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry entered into a contract with Netflix for a period of several years. According to an article published by The New York Times at the time, the production centre in Sussex, which would subsequently be renamed Archewell Productions, would produce only documentaries, docuseries, feature films, scripted programs, and children’s programming for the popular platform.

Docuseries on Harry and Meghan will be directed by Liz Garbus, who has been nominated for an Academy Award and whose past work includes the films Love, Marilyn, What Happened, Miss Simone?, and Becoming Cousteau, all of which center on famous people.

“The series recounts the covert days of their early romance as well as the hardships that led to them feeling compelled to pull back from their full-time jobs at the institution,” as stated by Netflix.

With commentary from friends and family, most of whom have never spoken publicly before about what they witnessed, and historians who discuss the state of the British Commonwealth today and the royal family’s relationship with the press, the series does more than illuminate the story of one couple’s love story; it paints a picture of our world and how we treat each other.”
