What the ‘Sex and the City Cast Looked Like Then vs Now.
Natasha (Bridget Moynahan) (Bridget Moynahan)
Did you know that Bridget’s first TV role was in Sex and the City? The actress and model quickly went on to significant roles in films like Coyote Ugly, Serendipity, and the John Wick series after making her acting debut as Big’s wife Natasha. She has been performing since 2010.
Parker concentrated on her acting career after leaving Carrie Bradshaw behind (for the first time), appearing in movies like “The Family Stone” and “Failure to Launch.” She also made a comeback to the stage, where she got her start, co-starring with her future husband, Matthew Broderick, in “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.”
Parker, who turns 57 on March 25, also benefited from her fame as a fashion icon by developing the BITTEN apparel line for Steve & Barry’s and the SJP Collection of shoes for Nordstrom’s.
Despite having said she wouldn’t work on television again, she did so in 2012 for a cameo appearance on “Gleefourth “‘s season. Parker said that she will be appearing in the brand-new HBO comedy “Divorce” five years later.
After three seasons, the program concluded in 2019, and she has since returned to the role of Carrie in “And Just Like That,” the “SATC” resurrection.
One of Hollywood’s most enduring couples, Parker and Broderick are presently appearing on Broadway in the Neil Simon comedy “Plaza Suite.” James, their son, and Marion and Tabitha, their twins, are all three of the couple’s children.
Kim Cattrall was set to become “Sex and the Citybreakthrough “‘s star, but she hasn’t been able to match that degree of success with her recent endeavors.

The show’s standout character was Cattrall’s sexually assured Samantha Jones, for which she received five Emmy nods and a Golden Globe nomination. But 65-year-old Cattrall has shied away from the limelight ever since the program ended.
She has acted in other Canadian and BBC TV programmes, but none of them have achieved the kind of popularity she had with “Sex and the City.” Ironically, she was regarded as the cast member with the highest fame before the first season.
Cattrall appeared in and served as executive producer of the Fox television series “Filthy Rich” in 2020. After only one season, it was abandoned.
She also portrays the future Hilary Duff persona, who serves as the narrator of “How I Met Your Father.” It has already received a second season renewal. She will also be seen with Sebastian Maniscalco, Robert De Niro, and Leslie Bibb in the comedy “About My Father.”
She has been in the news due to her conflict with former co-star Parker as well as the terrible death of her brother Christopher.
Samantha’s character was written off in the revival when she moved to London; nevertheless, Carrie and Samantha got back together off-screen in Paris at the season finale.
After her stint on the program, Kristin Davis stepped away from acting and focused on advocacy. She recently appeared in Netflix movies and is now gradually making her way back.
Davis portrays the refined Charlotte York in both her past and present. Davis, 57, received praise from critics for her depiction of Charlotte York, the group’s most traditional member, according to Stephen Trupp/AP and Rich Fury/Getty. She received Emmy, Golden Globe, and SAG Award nominations. She played the same part again in “And Just Like That.”
Davis made appearances on “Friends” and “Will and Grace,” two other very famous TV programs at the time, while “Sex and the City” was running. However, she didn’t make another appearance on a program until “Bad Teacher” in 2014. She did, however, make an appearance in a few major motion pictures, such as “Deck the Halls,” which also starred Parker’s husband, Matthew Broderick.
She co-starred with Rob Lowe in the 2019 Netflix romantic comedy “Holiday in the Wild.” In 2020, she served as presenter of the reality dating series “Labor of Love.” She appeared in a Netflix movie once again in March 2021; this time, it was a psychological suspense called “Deadly Illusions.”
She also received the 2010 Humane Society Wyler Award, which is granted to a celebrity who has made headlines on behalf of animals, and is a patron of the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust. Oxfam is a group of worldwide organizations working to alleviate global poverty.
Personally, Davis adopted a boy named Wilson in 2018 and a daughter named Gemma in 2011.
Cynthia Nixon transitioned from theater to politics, and in 2018 she ran for governor of New York. She is now totally back in Hollywood.

No matter how well-liked Miranda Hobbes was in the first season, nothing could have prepared viewers for what happened to her in “And Just Like That” – no spoilers, but the name Che Diaz still gives us the shivers.
In real life, Nixon, 55, is a vocal advocate for breast cancer awareness and LGBTQ rights (she came out as bisexual and has been married to Christine Marinoni since 2012). (she beat the disease in 2006). 2008 saw her appointment of her as a Susan G. Komen for the Cure ambassador.
On March 19, 2018, Nixon declared her intention to run for governor of New York. She received a respectable 35% of the vote despite losing the Democratic primary.
Nixon has acted in independent films, Broadway productions, and enduring classic series like “Law and Order” in addition to her political career. She received an Emmy for playing a lady who was faking to have dissociative identity disorder in a guest appearance on “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” in 2008.
She had an appearance in the Netflix series “Ratched” in 2020, and she presently plays the lead in Julian Fellowes’ HBO series “The Gilded Age,” which was inspired by “Downton Abbey.”
Nixon and her ex-husband Danny Mozes have two children together: Charles and Seph. Max was born to her and Marinoni in 2011.
In 2012, David Eigenberg began working on “Chicago Fire.”
David Eigenberg, who is still alive today, portrayed Steve Brady, Miranda’s son’s father and her future spouse. Daniel Boczarski and Lawrence Lucier/Getty
Eigenberg, 57, has been constantly employed in the TV industry since since his stint as Steve, Miranda’s primary love interest, came to an end.
Several one-off episodes of well-known series, including “Without a Trace,” “Everwood,” “NCIS,” and “Castle,” have included him.
In addition to appearing on “Chicago PD,” he joined the cast of “Chicago Fire” in 2012. In 2009, he and his wife Chrysti had their first child. In 2014, they had a daughter.
Since many viewers thought Steve’s character was treated unfairly in the revival, many are eager for his redemption.
In addition to his work on “Californication,” Evan Handler is as widely recognized for his stint on “Sex and the City.”
The persona of Handler A Jewish divorce attorney named Harry Goldenblatt was the exact opposite of what Charlotte believed she wanted. Harry and Charlotte’s friendship was possibly the most endearing on the whole program. Evan Agostini and Joshua Blanchard/Getty It even inspired Charlotte to convert to Judaism by teaching her to see beyond outward appearances. The two also discussed actual reproductive problems, a change from the show’s typically more humorous tone.
Following the conclusion of “Sex and the City,” Handler, 61, joined the cast of “Californication,” portraying Charlie, the best friend of the lead character. Handler continued to appear on television after “Californication” finished, most notably in “The Astronaut Wives Club,” “American Crime Story,” and “The Breaks.” He played the lead role in “Power’s” sixth and final season.
Harry was again portrayed by Handler in the revival.
Sofia, the child of Handler and his wife Elisa, was born in 2007.
Jason Lewis has been acting ever after the program finished.
Jason Lewis’s history

Even though Smith was young, he was ideal for Samantha and ultimately developed into her most significant relationship in the series (and subsequent movies). He supported her despite her problems with commitment, adultery, and breast cancer.
In the program, Smith transitioned from modeling to acting; in real life, Lewis, 51, took a similar path. He was a prominent model before appearing on “Sex and the City,” working with companies like Guess and Hugo Boss, among others.
After the series ended, Lewis guest featured on “Charmed” and “How I Met Your Mother,” and most recently, from 2017 to 2018, he played Joe Strong, a fallen angel on “Midnight, Texas.”
He didn’t play the same part in the revival.
Box office success came to John Corbett thanks to his performance in “My Big Fat Greek Wedding” and its follow-up.
Aidan Shaw was a component of the Carrie-Big-Aidan love triangle. john corbett then and today. Apart from Big, Aidan was the only other guy who came close to being Carrie’s longtime spouse. Sebastian Artz and Tommaso Bodi/Getty Which one was the best for her is still up for dispute.
By playing the lead in “My Big Fat Greek Wedding” in 2002, Corbett, 60, established himself as a box office attraction for the course of the show. Along with playing regular parts on “Parenthood” and “United States of Tara,” he also acted in the touching films “Raising Helen” and “Raise Your Voice.”
As the gorgeous dad in the “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” movies, he is now well-known to a whole new generation. He appeared in “Rebel,” an ABC series based on the life of Erin Brokovich, in 2021 with Katey Sagal. In May 2021, it was abandoned.
Being a multi-talented individual, Corbett has also produced two country CDs.
He has been dating model and actress Bo Derek since 2002. In 2020, they got married.
Don’t hold your breath for an appearance in “And Just Like That” season two; Aidan’s tale seems to be relatively wrapped up at the conclusion of “Sex and the City 2.”
From a minor supporting part on “Sex and the City” to a lead role on “White Collar,” Willie Garson transitioned. At 57, he passed away in September 2021.

Stanford was Carrie’s ride-or-die companion who was always unmarried and stood with her through several romances and other escapades. Stanford eventually met his own partner, Marcus, who vanished abruptly in the movies. In “Sex and the City 2,” he wed Anthony, a friend of Charlotte.
Following “Sex and the City,” Garson appeared in “White Collar” as the lead and had cameo appearances on “Girl Meets World” and “Wizards of Waverly Place.” On “Supergirl,” he also had a recurrent role.
In 2010, he adopted a 7-year-old kid.
Garson passed away while he was shooting “And Just Like That” episodes, and his role was abandoned.
By the time he made an appearance on “Sex and the City,” Kyle MacLachlan was already well-known for his portrayal of Agent Dale Cooper in “Twin Peaks,” and he still plays recognizable TV roles today.
Kyle MacLachlan, both then and now, was Trey MacDougal, Charlotte’s unstable first husband. Trey and Charlotte had a quick courtship, engagement, and marriage. As a result, Charlotte missed certain warning signs, such as his perhaps toxic connection with his mother. Scott Gries and Jamie McCarthy/Getty After their final divorce, Charlotte met Harry, who would become her second husband.
The 63-year-old MacLachlan excels at portraying evil characters like the paranoid Captain in “How I Met Your Mother” and the obsessive Orson Hodge in “Desperate Housewives.” He played the same part again in “How I Met Your Father.”
By portraying Calvin Zabo, a.k.a. The Doctor, in “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,” he even ventured in the Marvel Universe.
In 2021, he also appeared as Harold Baskin in the Peacock television series “Joe vs. Carole.” He will take part in the Jon Hamm-led “Fletch” revival in 2022.
Additionally, MacLachlan shares ownership of the Washington-based Pursued by Bear wine label.
He wed Desirée Gruber in 2002, and the two have a son named Callum in 2008.
In the years following the show’s finale, James Remar has developed into a skilled voice actor.
Richard Wright was Samantha’s on-again, off-again lover back then, and he is still doing so now. Astrid Stawiarz and Frazer Harrison/Getty
One of Samantha’s on-screen partnerships with Richard was one of the few that had an enduring effect. She was horrified when she discovered him having an affair, and he subsequently made a cameo on the program to demonstrate that Samantha was in fact much in love with Smith.
In “Dexter,” Remar, 68, was nominated for a Saturn Award for his portrayal of Harry Morgan, Dexter’s father. In “The Vampire Diaries,” he also portrayed the father of the Salvatore family. He most recently played the lead in the superhero series “Black Lightning” on The CW.
He has, however, had the greatest success in the voiceover industry. To name a few, Remar has provided voices for “Young Justice,” “Justice League Unlimited,” “The Batman,” “The Spectacular Spider-Man,” and “Ben 10: Alien Force.”
Ron Livingston is still active in the TV industry and has recently been in the episodes of “Loudermilk” and “A Million Little Things.”
Ron Livingston in the past and present Jack Berger, a character played by Livingston, is well known for their notorious Post-it split. Frazer Harrison and Tim Goodwin/Getty
“I apologize. I can’t. Be kind to me.”
Jack Berger became known as the one who dumped Carrie with a Post-it note as a result of those seven words. In addition, he spoke the phrase that may have had the greatest cultural impact of all the six seasons of “Sex and the City”: He just isn’t that into you.
Livingston, 54, has managed to succeed in Hollywood even after writing the Post-it and vanishing into the night. In addition to the highly praised independent comedy “Drinking Buddies,” he has starred in blockbuster films including “The Conjuring” and “The Time Traveler’s Wife.”
In “The Flash,” Livingston will take Billy Crudup’s position as Henry Allen in 2023.
His performances on “Boardwalk Empire,” “Search Party,” “Loudermilk,” and “A Million Little Things” demonstrate that he has mostly kept to television.
Livingston and Rosemarie DeWitt adopted two kids, Gracie and Esperanza, after they were married in 2009.
Since his appearance on the program, Mario Cantone has had a flourishing career in comedy and theater.

Anthony fit the mold of the outrageous homosexual cliché. He was contentedly unmarried the whole time the program ran, but inexplicably got married to Stanford in “Sex and the City 2.” In essence, he replaced Stanford following Willie Garson’s passing during the revival.
The first Broadway performance to be videotaped and shown on Showtime as a comedy special was Cantone’s one-man show. Additionally, he has made several Comedy Central roast appearances and guest-starred as former press secretary Anthony Scaramucci on “The President Show.”
Cantone, 62, wed Jerry Dixon, a director of musical theater, who had been his companion for 20 years, in 2011.
Before appearing on “SATC,” Mikhail Baryshnikov was a trained ballet dancer; he hasn’t done any acting since the program ended.
In the last season of the program, Mikhail Baryshnikov portrayed Carrie’s divisive lover Aleksandr Petrovsky, also known as The Russian. Getty Images, Scott Gries, and Associated Press
In the series conclusion, Carrie’s friends encouraged Big to go to Paris in order to win her back since they detested “the Russian” so much (even though they never liked him very much either).
Baryshnikov, 74, was regarded as one of history’s greatest ballet dancers before switching to acting.
He has only featured in three projects since the conclusion of the show: “Place,” an uncredited cameo in “Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit,” and a 2015 recurring role as himself on “Doll & Em.”
Despite declaring to Larry King in 2002 that he did not believe in marriage, Baryshnikov eventually wed Lisa Rinehart, a fellow dancer, in 2006. Their daughter, Anna, took after her father’s (actor) career and appeared in “Dickinson” on Apple TV+.
