Quiet Spirit Tea Blend.

This dried herb and clove tea combination is delectable either hot or cold and has a lovely sedative effect on the nervous system and digestive systems.

  • half a cup of dried lavender blossoms
  • half a cup of dried mint leaves
  • 12 cup of rosemary leaves, dried
  • 1/fourth cup dried chamomile
  • Dried cloves, 1/4 cup


YIELD: 2 CUPS OF MIXED TEA (NINETY-SIX 1-TEASPOON SERVINGS)

  1. Combine all the ingredients and keep the mixture away from heat, moisture, and light in an airtight container.
  2. Using a tea ball or a teapot and filter, add 1 teaspoon of the mixture to 6 ounces of boiling water. Steep for 5 to 8 minutes.

How to Make Starbucks Apple Cake


A wonderful winter treat, thanks to the dried apples. If you like, double this recipe and save one for later while eating the other fresh from the oven. The frozen cake is an option.


2 cups of apple flakes
1/8 cup lemon juice
1 stick or 1/2 cup of butter or margarine
Sugar, 1/4 cup
2 eggs
12 ounces of all-purpose flour
Baking powder, two tablespoons
Salt, 1/2 teaspoon
1/2 cup milk
Vanilla extract, 1 teaspoon


SUGAR SURFACE
1/2 cup sugar
2 tablespoons of cinnamon powder


One 9-inch square cake (nine 312-ounce servings) will be produced.
