Some Safety Tips for Winter BBQs 1. Don’t attempt to barbecue indoors — even in your garage.
Seriously. Grilling in a confined space is not a good idea. You may poison yourself and your family by accumulating carbon monoxide.

2. Wear warm clothes that isn’t combustible.

You’ll want to dress warmly since you’ll be outdoors. But keep in mind that you’ll be cooking over an open flame. Layer up with warm, form-fitting clothing. Make sure your sleeves aren’t too huge and your gloves aren’t too big. If you’re scratching your head about whether wool (not really) or polyester (kind of) are combustible, you may want to reconsider your wardrobe.

3. Have additional grilling fuel on hand.

It will be more difficult to maintain your grill temperatures at suitable levels since you will be contending with cooler temps (and likely more wind) than you would in the summer. This will need the use of additional gasoline. This is true not just for gas, but also for charcoal, wood, and anything else.

4. Think about putting up a windbreak.

Obviously, you’ll want to avoid grilling in a wind tunnel since it will make you much more unhappy and require even more gasoline. To keep the wind at bay, position your grill station on the far side of your house, shed, or garage. If you’re serious about winter grilling, try constructing a windbreak out of PVC tubing and a tarp. Just bear in mind not to approach any structures too closely. You might melt or warp siding even if you don’t set your house/shed/wall on fire.

5. Prepare everything on the inside.

What’s the secret to surviving and enjoying winter grilling? Inside the home, do as much as you can securely. To put it another way, prepare your sauce or rub inside and apply it before going outdoors. If you’re going to add more as you go, be sure it’s ready to go. And, for the love of God, don’t start wrapping or slicing vegetables until you’re outdoors.

Barbecue Recipes

Mac & cheese with pulled pork

Mac & cheese is always a winner, but this dish takes it a step further with pulled pork. It’s a main course and a side dish, but most importantly, it’s comfort food. It’s made out of layers of melted cheese and noodles cooked combined with pulled pork. Then breadcrumbs, additional cheese (obviously), and BBQ sauce are sprinkled on top.

Chipotle fondue with BBQ short ribs

If you’re throwing a dinner party anytime soon, this is the dish to serve. Fondue is, by far, the most enjoyable kind of cuisine. You can’t go wrong with the dipping and the burst of cheesy tastes. So get some short ribs and season them with chipotle sauce to produce a thick, creamy, and flavorful sauce for a simple and satisfying supper.

Bread Pudding with BBQ Chicken and Apples

You’ve come to the correct location if you’re seeking for a sweet and savory supper. Bake your cornbread first. Then cube the cornbread and toss it in with your chicken, cheddar, and apples. Return the mixture to the oven to bake after pouring the egg mixture over it. Your one-of-a-kind bread pudding will be ready in approximately 30 minutes. Just remember to bring the barbecue sauce!

One packet cornbread/muffin mix, butter, sweet onion, barbeque sauce, cooked chicken, eggs, half-and-half milk, salt and pepper, Monterey jack cheese, a green apple, and chives are all needed for this dish.
