Espresso Hazelnuts Balls
This delectable and nutty appetizer will become a party or celebration favorite in no time! The coffee will have a recognizable flavor that will complement the hazelnuts and sweetness!
Yields: It serves three people.
Ingredients:
a single unit (9 oz.) Wafers du chocolat
1 pound roasted, peeled hazelnuts
12 cup of liquid Sugar used in candy 1 tablespoon (tbsp) Espresso in a hurry 12 c. liqueur d’orange
12 tbsp. plus 2 12 tbsp. Corn syrup with a light flavor Sugar, 12 cup
Preparation Technique:
1. In a mortar and pestle or a food processor, crush the wafers and hazelnuts together. Combine with the confectionery sugar.
2. In the same food processor, dissolve the espresso in the orange liqueur, then combine the wafer crumbs and corn syrup. Until a pasty consistency is achieved.
3. Make balls with the pasty mixture and keep them aside.
4. Put sugar in it.
Pour the sugar into a basin and roll each ball in it. Allow a week or so for them to mature on a baking dish lined with wax paper before serving. (Fridge them.) Enjoy!
Bacon with a Coffee Rubbing and Fried Onion
The bacon’s saltiness is balanced by the coffee’s bitterness. It’s the ideal complement to the sweetness of fried onions on the side.

Makes 1 serving
Ingredients:
2 thickly sliced bacon slices
1 teaspoon finely ground coffee beans
To create the fried onions, start by chopping the onions into small pieces. 12 c. 12 cup red onions, cut in the middle and rings removed one at a time flour (all-purpose)
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
2 CUP VEGAN OIL
Preparation Techniques:
1. Combine the bacon and coffee in a small mixing dish. Using the coffee, coat the bacon.
2. Sear both sides of the bacon for at least 5 minutes in a pan. Set it aside for now.
To create the fried onions, start by chopping the onions into small pieces.
3. Combine the flour and season with salt and pepper in a mixing basin.
4. Before putting the onions in the season flour, wet them. Set each ring aside after coating it.
5. Heat the oil in the same pan and sauté the onions for at least 5 minutes, or until golden brown. Using a paper towel-lined plate, drain the oil.
6. Enjoy the bacon with the fried onions
